About the Supreme Subordinate Board

The Supreme Subordinate Board serves as the highest national decision-making authority for the Knights of St. John International in Sierra Leone. Established in 2017 when Sierra Leone was granted Supreme Subordinate status, this board provides strategic direction, governance, and oversight for all Knights activities across the country.

The board oversees two Grand Commanderies (Freetown–Makeni and Bo–Kenema) and ensures that the organization's mission, vision, and core values are upheld throughout all levels of the organization.
